A 31-year-old porter committed self-harm, expressing irritation over allegedly non-responsive police to his complaint at Shukrawar Peth Police Chowki.Breaking down the case... Jamir Salim Attar (31), a resident of the Lashkar neighbourhood, has been named as the complainant. Attar and his spouse reportedly got into violent confrontations over the formers alcoholism and conduct, according to the police. He went to the police chowki and lodged a complaint about his partner after his wife left.Police inaction causes a conundrum! Peth Shukrawar Police Attar was allegedly told by Chowki officials to go to another police station because his residence was outside of their purview. As he was walking out of the police chowki, Attar attempted to slit his own throat.
