In the unfortunate series of crimes against women in recent times in the country, is a yet another murder case registered in Hyderabad. As per the case, a Hyderabad-based priest named Ayyagari Sai Krishna killed his lover and dumped her body in a drain in Saroornagar.It should be noted that the accused himself lodged a missing complaint about the same woman a few days back. He was caught by the police after the suspicions grew on his statements and when the CCTV footage was collected.As per accused Sai Krishna, he claimed he dropped the victim, Kuruganti Apsara at Shamshabad bus stand as she wanted to go to Bhadrachalam. He, in his complaint to the police, stated that she had not been responding to any calls since then and is missing. The priest also claimed while complaining that the missing woman is his niece.However, the police nabbed priest after the CCTV footage and other technicalities were brought into consideration. Later on during the questioning, Sai Krishna confessed to killing the woman.As per the police, Sai Krishna is married and has two children. He killed Apsara as she started asking Krishna to get married to her. Police informed that the priest killed Apsara, packed her body in a plastic cover and threw her body into a manhole, nearby the temple he served as the priest.Meanwhile, a case has been registered against Sai Krishna.
