Amid all the allegations against Hassan MP Prajwal Revanna, a shocking statement from a woman has been recounted against him and his father HD Revanna, connecting him to acts of sexual assault and harassment.According to the sources, the victim, whose identity has been disclosed for safety purposes, alleged that Prajwal Revanna raped her mother four to five years back and also made her strip at his Bengaluru residence. The statement given by the woman underlining the incident has been under investigation by the Special Investigation Team (SIT).The woman also claimed that Prajwal Revanna forced her into taking video calls and forced her to undress by threatening to hurt her and her mother.I used to get calls from Prajwal asking me to take off my clothing. He would use my mothers phone to make video calls, which I would have to answer. He threatened to hurt my mother and myself when I refused. After learning about the incidences, our family helped us and we filed a report, the woman stated.She further claimed that “Prajwal used to threaten my mother that if she didnt cooperate, he will take her husbands job and even rape her daughter.” She added, “Her father was sacked from his job after they got to know that we would file the complaint against him.”The victim further added that the MP used to harass other female employees who used to work for him. She has now asked for justice from herself and her mother.Development in the case against Prajwal RevannaThe 33-year-old Hassan MP and JD(S) leader Prajwal Revanna and his father are facing sexual harassment charges against abusing several women. Notably, the scandal has initiated a political storm among Congress and BJP-JD(S). Meanwhile, the Karnataka Police Special Investigation Team (SIT) has initiated an investigation into the case. The department has also launched a helpline for the survivors to come forward and register the case. So far three FIRs have been filed, two in rape cases and one in kidnapping.Moreover, taking swift action in the case, Prajwal Revannas father, HD Revanna has been sent to judicial custody till May 14, where as Blue Corner Notice has been issued against who has been on flee since April 27.
