Popular content creator Junaid accused of sexual assault killed in road accident

Kerala vlogger and content creator Junaid, who was recently granted bail in a sexual assault case, died in a road accident on Friday night in Malappuram. Reports say that Junaid, who had gained fame for posting dance videos in slow-motion and robot styles, was found lying on the road with serious head injuries.

According to sources in the media, the accident took place at around 6:30 PM at Marathani Band in Karakannu, Malappuram. Junaid's motorcycle allegedly hit a sand dune and overturned. Bus employees on their way past spotted the injured Junaid lying there and proceeded to have him taken to Manjeri Medical College Hospital in a private vehicle. Doctors, though, declared him dead upon arrival.

Junaid was facing sexual assault allegations

Junaid was not new to being in the spotlight over legal issues. He had been arrested by Kerala police on March 1 from Bengaluru for allegedly sexual assault. The charge against him was of befriending a girl by misrepresenting about getting married to her and later physically assaulting her. The news of the alleged act had widely surfaced, after which he had been arrested, but released later on bail. 

Social media star known for distinct dance moves

Junaid received widespread popularity for his unique dance moves, and he became a favorite among Malayali social media users. His robotic and slow-motion dance moves had gained him a large number of followers. But since his arrest, he has been relatively quiet on social media websites.

His premature death has left his fans stunned, with many lamenting the loss of a gifted artist. Although his legal issues had dominated his career in the past few months, Junaid's impact on online entertainment cannot be denied.
