In a two-day operation, the Pune Police unearthed a major drug smuggling ring and seized a record-breaking 1,100 kilograms of mephedrone (MD), also known as Meow Meow, with an estimated street value exceeding ₹ 2,500 crore. One key suspect, Anil Sable, owner of the Pune factory where the drugs were stored, was apprehended in Dombivali.
