New Delhi: In a shocking incident, police apprehended a man who seemed like a moving "liquor shop'. This incident took place in the holy city of Haridwar in located in Uttarakhand. The place holda values of spiritual significance, making his action even more surprising. He had cleverly hidden several bottles of liquor inside his clothes. 

Police from the Har Ki Pauri area arrested an alcohol smuggler on Tuesday, led by Haridwar Kotwali, as seen in the footage. They found 48 bottles of English and country liquor hidden on his body during a search. That is unusual that these 48 liquor bottles were concealed in his clothes. The police were surprised to find such a large amount of liquor hidden by the smuggler. They captured this moment on camera, and now the video is spreading widely on social media.

What does SSP say? 

According to SSP Pramod Singh Dobal, many people are secretly bringing alcohol into places where it's not allowed. The police are constantly chasing after these smugglers.

They are also gathering information about the criminal history of the smuggler they caught. The SSP mentioned that they have identified Sajjan Kumar, a 24-year-old from Shiv Kutiya Brahmapuri in Haridwar, as the person who was caught smuggling alcohol.

"I would request the police to threaten and beat this person in the police station itself and warn him not to repeat this in the future and let him go. He should not be sent to jail if he has no criminal record. There is a lot of unemployment. People start doing illegal work to earn money," a user named Vinay K wrote in Hindi.
