Renowned poet Dr. Kumar Vishwas has reportedly been subjected to threatening phone calls, prompting his team to file a formal complaint at the Indirapuram police station in Ghaziabad. Dr. Vishwas, who resides in the Vasundhara area, received abusive threats from an unknown caller, raising concerns about his safety.

Details of the Threat

According to the complaint lodged by Dr. Vishwas' manager, Praveen Pandey, the call was made on September 7 at 6:02 PM. The caller used offensive language, which heightened the concerns for Dr. Vishwas and his team. The abusive tone and threatening nature of the call have led to serious worries regarding the safety of the poet and those associated with him.

Police Action Initiated

Following the complaint, the Indirapuram police have swiftly taken action by launching an investigation into the matter. A case has been registered under Section 351 of the Indian Penal Code.
