Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to visit the United Arab Emirates (UAE) on February 13-14. PM Modi will also address the Ahlan Modi mega diaspora event in Abu Dhabi today.During his two-day official visit, he will inaugurate the BAPS Mandir. The BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir is the first traditional Hindu Temple in Abu Dhabi and is built on 27 acres of land donated by the UAE leadership, symbolising the long-standing cultural, social, and economic ties between India and the Gulf region. More than 60,000 Indians will participateMore than 60,000 Indians will pack into the Zayed Sports City Stadium on Tuesday to listen to Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi address the expatriate community in the UAE. About Ahlan Modi eventThe stadium gates will open at noon on Tuesday and all attendees must be seated by 4 pm. Gates will shut at 5 pm and PM Narendra Modi is expected to arrive after 6 pm. PM Modi will also hold bilateral meetings with UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan. The two leaders will discuss ways to further deepen, expand and strengthen the strategic partnership between the countries and exchange views on regional and international issues of mutual interest. About BAPS Hindu MandirBAPS Hindu Mandir is set to become the Middle Easts first traditional Hindu stone temple. Situated in the Abu Mureikhah area, this majestic structure embodies the spirit of cultural peace and colloboration and is a testament to the enduring friendship between India and the UAE. The UAE has three other Hindu temples that are located in Dubai. The BAPS temple spread over a large area with stone architecture, will be the largest in the Gulf region. World Government Summit 2024The Prime Minister will also participate in the World Government Summit 2024 to be held in Dubai as a Guest of Honour and deliver a special keynote address.
