Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Jammu and Kashmir on Thursday. During his visit,  he will unveil development projects worth Rs 6400 crore in the state and will provide job appointment letters to 1000 youth. This is PM Modi's first visit to Kashmir after the removal of Article 370.

Security arrangements tigtened

Security arrangements have been tightened in Srinagar regarding PM's visit as BJP claims that more than 2 lakh people will participate in this public meeting.

About Jammu and Kashmir visit

According to the information, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will reach Bakshi Stadium in Srinagar at around 12 noon on March 7, where he will participate in the 'Developed India Developed Jammu and Kashmir' program. During the program, the Prime Minister will dedicate to the nation the 'Composite Agricultural Development Programme', a program worth about Rs 5000 crore to promote agri-economy in Jammu and Kashmir.
Development projects worth Rs 6400 crore.

PM will launch several projects related to tourism sector worth more than Rs 1400 crore under Swadesh Darshan and Prasad Scheme, which also includes the 'Integrated Development of Hazratbal Teerth' project. Apart from this, PM will distribute appointment letters to about 1000 new government employees of Jammu and Kashmir and will also interact with the beneficiaries of various government schemes. PM will also address a public meeting at Bakshi Stadium in Srinagar. 

Promote tourism with this campaign

The Prime Minister will launch the 'Chalo India Global Diaspora Campaign' with an aim to inspire the Indian diaspora to become ambassadors of Incredible India and promote tourism in India. The campaign is being launched based on the Prime Minister's call, in which he requested members of the Indian diaspora to encourage at least 5 non-Indian friends to visit India
