Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited Chhattisgarh today (July 07) to lay the foundation stone and dedicate several projects to the state.
Taking notes from PM Modi’s itinerary, the prime minister first visited Chhattisgarh’s Raipur to inaugurate multiple projects.

Then, he will travel to UP’s Gorakhpur where we will participate in the closing ceremony of the centenary celebrations of Gita Press Gorakhpur.
The event will be followed by the flagging off of the Vande Bharat Express trains at Gorakhpur railway stations.
That’s not it, after Gorakhpur, PM Modi will then travel to Varanasi where he is all set to inaugurate and lay the foundation stone for several projects.
Ahead of the prime minister’s Friday visit, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath inspected the venues of programmes and reviewed the preparations on Thursday.
Further, CM Yogi also inspected the Gita Press and the railway station in Gorakhpur where PM Modi is scheduled to visit and participate in various events.
After reviewing the Gita Press, the chief minister reached the Gorakhpur railway station by the same route through which PM Modi will arrive.
According to the officials, the chief minister went to platform No.1 at the station and took detailed information about the preparation made by the railway and administration officials.
Earlier, the PMO (Prime Minister’s Office) said in a statement that he will undertake a visit to four states, including Chhattisgarh, Uttar Pradesh, Telangana, and Rajasthan, from July 7 to 8, during which he will lay the foundation and dedicate multiple projects worth ₹50,000 crores to the people.
