Prime Minister Narendra Modi, on Monday is likely to respond in the Lok Sabha to the Motion of Thanks to the President's Address. President Droupadi Murmu spoke to both the Lok Sabha and the Rajya Sabha together, on January 31, the first day of the budget session.

On the fourth day of the current Budget Session, the Bharatiya Janata Party has delivered a three-line whip to all of its Lok Sabha members requiring them to be in the Lower House.

In addition, the Lok Sabha MPs Ravneet Singh and Ramshiromani Verma will place the minutes of the Committee on Absence of Members from the Sessions of the Twelfth Committee on the Table on December 14, 2023, in accordance with the List of Business in the House for the day.

In addition to this, Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman will present a statement (Hindi and English versions) of estimated receipts and expenditure of the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir for the year 2024-25.

In order to alter the Water (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1974, Union Minister Bhupendra Yadav will introduce the Water (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Amendment Bill, 2024 Bill in the Rajya Sabha today.

The final session before the Lok Sabha elections, which are scheduled for April and May of this year, will take place over the course of ten days and eight sittings, with a potential conclusion date of February 9.
