Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate and lay the foundation stone of 112 National Highway projects worth Rs 1 lakh crore across the country at a program organized in Gurugram today. According to the information, PM Modi will inaugurate the Haryana section of the historic Dwarka Expressway. This will help in smoothening the traffic between Delhi and Gurugram on NH-48 and reducing congestion.How Dwarka Expressway will helpThe 19 km long Haryana section of the eight-lane Dwarka Expressway has been built at a cost of approximately Rs 4,100 crore. According to this, it will also provide direct connectivity to Indira Gandhi Airport in Delhi and Gurugram Bypass. Apart from this, other major projects that PM Modi will inaugurate include the 9.6 km long six-lane Urban Extension Road-II from Nangloi-Najafgarh Road to Sector 24 Dwarka section in Delhi.According to this, PM Modi will inaugurate three sections of Lucknow Ring Road developed at a cost of about Rs 4,600 crore in Uttar Pradesh and Anandapuram-Pendurthi-Anakapalle section of National Highway-16 developed at a cost of about Rs 2,950 crore in Andhra Pradesh.Traffic advisory ahead of PM visitGurugram Police have issued a traffic advisory ahead of PM Narendra Modis visit to the state. A huge gathering is expected during the PM Modis rally at Antriksh Chowk on March 11. People have been asked to avoid Antriksh Chowk and opt for alternates routes to reach IMT Manesar. Entry of heavy vehicles on Dwarka Expressway has been stopped till late evening and these vehicle have to reach their destinations. Foundation stone of 39 other projectsPM Modi will lay the foundation stone for 39 other projects worth Rs 32,700 crore under the National Highway Project in various states, including the Bengaluru-Cuddapah-Vijayawada Expressway in Andhra Pradesh, built at cost of about Rs 14000 crore, Belgaum Hungund Raichur section on NH 748A in Karnataka worth Rs 8000 crore and Shamli Ambala Highway in Haryana worth Rs 4900 crore. PM Modi will also lay the foundation stone of Amritsar Bathinda Corridor worth Rs 3800 crore and will lay the foundation stone for 39 other projects worth Rs 32,700 crore today.
