On Sunday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will speak on the 102nd episode of his regular radio show, ‘Mann Ki Baat.’ At 11 am, the Prime Minister’s monthly radio show will go on the air. Notably, the 100th edition of PM Modi’s monthly radio show was gone live on April 26 throughout the nation.

The 100th edition of the ‘Mann ki Baat’ was also broadcasted live at the United Nations headquarters in New York.

The initiative, which was launched on October 3, 2014, has grown to be a crucial component of the government’s citizen outreach campaign, which targets a variety of social groups, including women, young people, and farmers, and encourages neighbourhood activism. The agenda of the programme is to spread awareness about different topics in the society. The topics that were included in the series were climate change, agriculture, art, culture, and health in the ‘Mann ki Baat’ programme. The show aimed at uniting the country in one thread and developing by taking everyone along.

Apart from 22 Indian languages and 29 dialects, ‘Mann ki Baat’ broadcasts in 11 foreign languages including French, Chinese, Indonesian, Tibetan, Burmese, Baluchi, Arabic, Pashtu, Persian, Dari and Swahili. The show was broadcast by more than 500 broadcast centres of All India Radio.
