After Income Tax department seized Rs 351 crore of black money and approximately 3 kg of gold ornaments from the premises of Congress MP Dhiraj Sahu in Odisha and Jharkhand, Prime Minister Narendra Modi took a dig at Congress calling it a popular 'Money Heist' drama.

PM Modi took a swipe at Congress saying that the party has been looting the country for 70 years now.

Featuring the stacks of currency notes recovered by Income Tax department, PM Modi said, “In India, who needs 'Money Heist' fiction, when you have the Congress Party, whose heists are legendary for 70 years and counting!”

The Income Tax department since last week has seized a record Rs 351 crore in cash during the raids at multiple locations in Odisha and Jharkhand linked to Congress MP Dheeraj Sahu.

According to the officials, the cash haul is the biggest ever in a single action by the probe agency in the country.

But following the recovery of over Rs 350 crore cash, ruling party in Odisha, Biju Janata Dal (BJD), the BJP, and the Congress started blame game and traded charges.
