Prime Minister Narendra Modi, during an election rally in Jammu and Kashmir on Saturday, launched a scathing attack on Congress, the National Conference (NC), and the Mehbooba Mufti-led People's Democratic Party (PDP). The rally comes just ahead of the third phase of the Assembly Elections, set for October 1, with Modi focusing on issues of terrorism, corruption, and regional appeasement.

Injustice to Jammu and Dogra Heritage

Addressing a large crowd, PM Modi accused the Congress-NC-PDP alliance of consistently undermining Jammu’s interests and indulging in politics of appeasement. He also alleged that their actions have sought to tarnish the legacy of Maharaja Hari Singh, a prominent figure in Jammu’s Dogra heritage.

"Congress, National Conference, and PDP have always done injustice to Jammu. They can do anything for appeasement. Listen to their speeches and you will see how they attack the Dogra heritage and defame Maharaja Hari Singh," Modi remarked.

People are tired of these three families

The Prime Minister criticized the political dominance of these three families in Jammu and Kashmir, claiming that the people are weary of their leadership. He emphasized that residents are seeking peace, an end to terrorism, and a brighter future for their children.

BJP's path to victory

Citing the high voter turnout in the first two phases of elections, the Prime Minister confidently declared that the BJP is poised to form it’s first-ever government in Jammu and Kashmir with a full majority.

"After the first two phases of polling, it’s clear that the people of Jammu and Kashmir want a BJP government. The turnout has been tremendous, and it’s certain that BJP will form its government here for the first time with full majority," Modi stated, energizing the crowd ahead of the third phase of voting.
