A top-level meeting on a late-night Wednesday, with the top leaders of Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) was convened by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Union Home Minister Amit Shah and party President JP Nadda were also present at the meeting.
According to the sources, the meeting took place amid the speculations over the changes in the government and organisations. Apart from this, the discussions in the meeting revolved around the upcoming 2024 Lok Sabha polls.
It is to be noted here that meeting just came few days after PM Modi’s visit to US. Apart from this, a day before, PM Modi also spoke about the implementation of Uniform Civil Code (UCC) nationwide, and said that UCC was always part of the manifesto.
Notably, the party president JP Nadda will also hold meeting in the July with top leaders. The meeting would also be attended by the state in-charges, state unit presidents, state organisation secretaries, chief ministers, deputy chief ministers, MLAs, MPs and national executive members.
The ministers were also told that each region is to be operated as a sub-entity with an individual strategy.
