Prime Minister Modi extended his best wishes to both the Indian and Bangladeshi cricket teams, as they prepared to face off in a World Cup match scheduled for that evening. He emphasized the importance of the bilateral relationship between the two countries, stating, "Bangladesh is India's largest development partner, and we give utmost priority to our relations with Bangladesh."
The announcement came after Modi and Hasina engaged in comprehensive bilateral talks at Hyderabad House in Delhi, covering a wide range of topics. These discussions underscore the depth of the cooperation between India and Bangladesh, reflecting their shared commitment to strengthening ties and fostering regional stability.
The e-medical visa initiative is expected to significantly benefit Bangladeshi citizens, making it easier for them to access medical services in India. This step is part of India's broader effort to enhance people-to-people connections and support Bangladesh's healthcare needs.
