Prime Minister Narendra Modi has arrived in Paris for a three-day visit to France, where he will participate in key diplomatic events, including co-chairing an Artificial Intelligence (AI) Action Summit with French President Emmanuel Macron. This marks PM Modi's sixth visit to France, reinforcing the growing ties between the two nations.
On February 11, PM Modi will co-chair the AI Action Summit alongside President Macron. This summit aims to explore the role of artificial intelligence in shaping the future of both countries. Following the summit, PM Modi will join President Macron for a roundtable discussion with CEOs from various sectors, focusing on enhancing economic and business cooperation between India and France.

The visit will also include a visit to the Mazargues War Cemetery in Marseille, where PM Modi and President Macron will honor the sacrifices made by Indian soldiers during World War I. Additionally, the leaders will inaugurate the new Consulate General of India in Marseille, marking a significant step in strengthening India's diplomatic presence in France.
The visit will also include a tour of Cadarache, the site of the International Thermonuclear Experimental Reactor (ITER) project. India is part of the consortium of partner countries involved in this high-tech initiative aimed at harnessing energy for global benefit.
In his departure statement, PM Modi highlighted the significance of the visit, stating, “This bilateral segment of my visit will provide an opportunity to review the progress on the 2047 Horizon Roadmap for the India-France strategic partnership with my friend President Macron. We will also travel to the historic city of Marseille to inaugurate India’s first consulate in France and visit the ITER project, where India is a key partner.”
