Patna husband murders wife over affair with son: In a shocking crime, a 65-year-old man, identified as Kailash Das, murdered his 55-year-old wife, Radha Devi, in Patna’s Buddha Colony area, alleging she had an illicit relationship with their son. The brutal killing occurred on Tuesday evening when Kailash attacked his wife with a saw blade. He has since been arrested and confessed to the crime, providing a startling explanation for his actions.

Husband alleges wife’s affair with son

According to police, Kailash claimed that ongoing disputes with his wife stemmed from what he believed to be an inappropriate relationship between her and their son. He told authorities he had repeatedly confronted Radha about the issue, which led to heated arguments. On the day of the incident, the confrontation escalated after Radha returned home from the temple, leading to the fatal attack.

What is the whole matter?

Kailash, a motor mechanic, and Radha had been married for years, sharing two sons and a daughter. Despite his warnings, Kailash alleged that his wife did not take his concerns seriously, often responding dismissively. Although the son at the center of the accusation has yet to comment, police investigations continue, with officers planning to interview him and other family members for additional details.

Police investigation underway

DSP Krishna Murari Prasad, overseeing the case, confirmed that a thorough investigation is underway. The authorities have sent Radha’s body for post-mortem examination and are awaiting results from forensic teams examining the crime scene. "We are probing all aspects of the case, and further revelations are expected once we gather statements from the son and other relatives," DSP Prasad said.
