Patalkot Express coach catches fire midway between Agra, Dholpur, no casualties reported

Two coaches of the Patalkot Express (14624) caught fire while travelling from Firozpur in Punjab to Seoni in Madhya Pradesh.

A fire incident broke out on board the Express (14624) on Wednesday, October 25. Two coaches of the Patalkot Express (14624) caught fire during its journey from Firozpur in Punjab to Seoni in Madhya Pradesh near Bhadai railway station of Malpura Police Station in Agra, as per ANI reports.

The smoke on the train was noticed by the General Seating (GS) coach, the 4th coach from the engine while it was travelling between Agra and Dholpur. The railway authorities immediately stopped the coach and detached the coach, the Indian Railways said.

According to a railway source, the first took place around 3:45 p.m. after the train departed from Agra station. The main reason behind the cause of this incident is to be determined, as the investigations are underway casualty has been reported so far.
