Assam News: A shocking incident unfolded in Guwahati, Assam, where a renowned female tennis player, Tanya Prasad, was arrested for the brutal murder of her mother, Manju Devi, 40. According to the police, Tanya attacked her mother with the trophies and medals she had won over the years. Neighbors reported hearing Manjus desperate cries for help, but they were unable to intervene as the house was locked from the inside.After the attack, Tanya emerged from the house, soaked in blood and clutching a blood-stained trophy. She confessed to killing her mother, saying, “I killed my mother.” The police were immediately informed, and they arrived to find Manju Devi lying in a pool of blood with the trophies scattered around her. Tanya was arrested at the scene.Tanyas confessionAt the police station, Tanya initially denied any involvement in the murder but later confessed, revealing disturbing details. She claimed that her father, a tennis coach, had been sexually abusing her since childhood. Despite informing her mother, Manju Devi allegedly did nothing to help. On the day of the incident, a heated argument erupted between Tanya and her mother over her clothing, which led Tanya to attack her in a fit of rage. “I have no regrets about killing her.
