in an interview, Pakistan's Defense Minister said that his country had spent three decades supporting terrorist groups as a favor to Western nations, including the US and UK, and admitted that this decision has had severe consequences for Pakistan.

According to reports, during the interview itself he denied the existence of Lashkar-e-Taiba. He also said that he had no knowledge about TRF i.e. The Resistance Front. He said, 'Lashkar is an old name. It does not exist anymore.'

Pakistan on Thursday suspended the Shimla Agreement and other bilateral pacts with India, halted all trade and closed its airspace to Indian airlines, saying any attempt to stop or divert the flow of waters earmarked for it under the Indus Waters Treaty would amount to waging war.
