National News: Pakistan is once again in international eyes on the recent horrific terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir. This time, former Pakistan military officer Captain (retired) Adil Raza himself has made a shocking claim. Raza has said that the attack was carried out on the instructions of Pakistani Army Chief General Asim Munir.

26 innocent people died, terrorists kept asking for religion

The attack occurred when a large number of tourists were holidaying in Pahalgam. The terrorists targeted tourists by asking religion and fired indiscriminately. 26 people were killed in this barbaric attack, mostly from the Hindu community. Evidence of the attackers being associated with Pakistan was also revealed in the preliminary investigation.

Adil Raza's sensational allegations

Ex -serviceman Adil Raza posted on social media and said: "The highly placed sources of the Pakistani intelligence department have confirmed that Pahalgam's attack took place on the direct order of General Asim Munir. The whole of Pakistan is unaware of this truth." Raza has been making serious allegations against Pakistan's army and ISI earlier. His claim has created a stir in international circles and has raised serious questions on the role of Pakistan.

India's aggressive attitude, reconsideration of Indus Water Treaty

After the attack, India has started the process of reconsideration on the Indus Water Agreement, taking a tough stand. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has directed the security agencies to take strict action. India has made it clear that the attack on innocent civilians will be answered with perseverance and decisiveness.

Pakistan's furious: Aircraft and business shut down

Fearful of India's reaction, Pakistan immediately took retaliation. On Thursday, Pakistan not only shut down its aircraft for Indian aircraft, but also stopped all business activities from the Wagah border. Along with this, Pakistan warned that if India affects the Indus Water Treaty, it would be considered as "war action".

Pakistan threatens after NSC meeting

Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif called an emergency meeting of the National Security Committee (NSC) along with the three army chiefs and cabinet ministers. The statement issued after the meeting said that a "befitting reply" would be given on challenging Pakistan's sovereignty and water rights. He described the reconsideration of India's Indus Water Policy as "unacceptable".

World eyes on Pakistan

After Adil Raza's statement, India is preparing to raise the issue on international forums. India may demand the United Nations and other global institutions to declare Pakistan a terrorism sponsor country. If this claim is verified internationally, Pakistan may suffer heavy diplomatic and economic losses. While India is taking all possible steps to bring the culprits of Pahalgam attack into the dock of justice, Pakistan's aggressive statements are raising more questions on its intention. In such a situation, the allegations of Adil Raza once again prove that the roots of terrorism are hidden in the power across the border.
