National News: The horrific terrorist attack in Pahalgam in Jammu and Kashmir has shocked the entire country. In this barbaric attack on Monday in Basaron, a popular tourist venue, the terrorists killed 26 innocent people by asking their names and religion, while more than 20 people were injured. This attack is considered to be the deadliest incident in the valley after Pulwama.
After the attack, security forces have started a big search operation in the area. Meanwhile, a statement by Pakistan Army Chief General Aseem Munir has come into the limelight, which has made doubt and deepening the role of Pakistan behind this terrorist attack.
Pakistani Army Chief Asim Munir recently addressed Hindus and Muslims as two different communities while addressing Pakistanis during a foreign tour. He claimed two nation theory, claiming that Kashmir is the "neck of the neck" of Pakistan and will not be left at any cost. This inflammatory statement is now being linked to this attack.
India has reacted sharply to Aseem Munir's statement. Foreign Ministry spokesman Randhir Jaiswal said that Jammu and Kashmir is a union territory of India and Pakistan has nothing to do with it. He said that Pakistan is making such statements to divert attention from its internal political and economic crisis.
Preliminary investigations by security agencies revealed that the attack included two Pakistani citizens who were talking in Pashto language. Apart from these, two local terrorists have also been identified - Adil Ahmed and Ashif Sheikh. Sketches of three terrorists have been released and the security forces are looking for them.
Experts believe that Pakistan has hatched a conspiracy by carrying out the attack during the visit of US Vice President JD Vance to India - an attempt has been made to tarnish India's image internationally.
After this attack, a wave of sorrow and anger has run all over the country. From social media to Parliament, there is only one demand everywhere - terrorists and those who shelters them should be strict. Experts believe that India should now reconsider all bilateral relations including cricket with Pakistan.
