The political conundrum continues on Thursday as Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla suspended three more MPs over 'disruptive behaviour.' This takes the total number of suspensions of opposition MPs to 145. The two suspended MPs are -- DK Suresh, Deepak Baij and Nakul Nath, who belong to the Congress Party.

The suspension came hours after the INDIA bloc marched from the Parliament to Vijay Chawk against the ruling party.

PM Modi breached parliamentary privilege, says Kharge

Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge alleged Prime Minister Narendra Modi had breached parliamentary privilege by avoiding the discussion on the security breach issue, which occurred on December 13 inside the Parliament.

Meanwhile, Congress' veteran leader Karti Chidambaram claimed that the current government didn't want the opposition in the Parliament.

He said, "It's like batting in a cricket match without any fielders. They are bringing very far-reaching laws which will have grave impact on to the daily life of this country, but they don't want any discussion, debate or dissent about it."

The news agency, PTI reported, the opposition MPs took out march with 'Save Democracy' banner and placards with messages like 'Parliament Caged',' Opposition MPs Suspended' and 'Democracy Expelled' written on them.

Kharge said after the march that PM Modi spoke about the Lok Sabha security breach outside the Parliament but not inside it.

What are the demands of opposition MPs?

After the march, Kharge said that Narendra Modi and Amit Shah spoke about the Lok Sabha security breach outside the Parliament but were unable to do so inside the house.

The veteran Congressman said, "We wanted to raise the Parliament security breach issue as to why it happened and who is responsible. Parliament is a big Panchayat. If one will not speak in Parliament where would one speak? It is unfortunate that Home Minister Shah and Prime Minister Modi did not come to the House to apprise about the security breach. They spoke about issues which should be spoken in the House, outside it."

Kharge also alleged PM Modi had disrespected the Parliament and stated, "He talks in Varanasi, Ahmedabad, on TV but not in Parliament. They have disrespected the House.
