NEET-UG re-test results: None of the students scored full marks in reattempt

Students who took part in the retest can visit exams.nta.ac.in/NEET/ to view their results. The final answer key for the NEET UG retest was made available on June 30, at 1:30 pm. Candidates who had previously obtained grace marks because of a lack of exam time took the retest.

Update: None of the students who appeared for the retest has scored full marks. According to the officials, the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET-UG) that was conducted on June 23 has brought down the toppers tally from 67 to 61. 

Meanwhile, the students who skipped the retest will now be given the original score without grace marks.


NTA declares revised result of 1563 NEET (UG) 2024 candidates

New Delhi: The results of the NEET UG 2024 retest, which was administered to 1,563 candidates on June 23, have been released by the National Testing Agency (NTA). Students who took part in the retest can visit exams.nta.ac.in/NEET/ to view their results.

The final answer key for the NEET UG retest was made available on June 30, at 1:30 pm. Candidates who had previously obtained grace marks because of a lack of exam time took the retest. 813 of the 1,563 eligible candidates showed up for the retest, which was held at six separate locations within the same cities. Some reports state that the Center is thinking at offering NEET UG online starting the following year.

  • First visit exams.nta.ac.in/NEET.
  • Go to the home page of the website and click on NEET UG re-exam results 2024.
  • Enter application number, date of birth and security pin to login.
  • The scorecard will open in the next window.
  • Download and save your result for NEET UG counseling.
  • Students can also keep a printout of their result.

Controversy surrounded over NEET UG exam

The NEET UG exam has been in controversy since the news of paper leak has been surfaced. The NTA announced the NEET Results 2024 on June 4. Approximately 1500 students obtained grace marks, while 67students received an AIR 1. As the number of obtaining AIR 1 was too high, it sparked debate. Following several demonstrations and a Supreme Court hearing, NTA declared that it would be withdrawing the NEET results for 1563 students and informing the highest court that these students would take another exam. The results of the June 23 NEET 2024 re-exam were made public today.

Now, the counseling of NEET 2024 is expected to start on July 6. Candidates who meet the requirements must register for the same.
