According to Sarabjit Singh's daughter, Swapandeep Kaur, the death of Amir Sarfaraz Tamba, who was formerly charged with killing Indian national Sarabjit Singh, by "unknown persons," "is not justice." She did, however, acknowledge that her initial response to the information was satisfaction.

Here's what the daughter felt!

“At first, I felt satisfied, but then I thought that this was not justice. What we wanted was a trial to ascertain why my father was killed,” she told to a media agency. Swapandeep further claimed that Sarabjit and Tamba's murders were planned and executed by the Pakistani government.

The shootout that sparked the response

On Sunday, Amir Sarfaraz Tamba was shot and killed in Lahore. On April 26, 2013, Sarabjit, who had been found guilty in Pakistan of terrorism and spying, was attacked by other inmates in Kot Lakhpat Jail in Lahore. On May 1, he was deemed brain dead, and the next day, he passed away.

Randeep Hooda expresses his gratitude!

A court dismissed Tamba's and Mudassar's co-accused status in 2018 due to 'lack of evidence.' In the meantime, the 'unknown men' received gratitude from actor Randeep Hooda, who portrayed Sarabjit in a 2016 Hindi movie.

“KARMA. Remembering my Sister Dalbir Kaur and sending love to Swapandeep and Poonam, today some justice to Martyr Sarabjit Singh has been served,” Hooda wrote on X (formerly Twitter). Sarabjit's sister, Daljit Kaur, who died in June 2022, had spearheaded a significant push to secure his release; Swapandeep and Poonam are the offspring of the latter.
