New Delhi: A significant breakthrough has emerged in the sexual abuse case against former JD(S) MP Prajwal Revanna, as the Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) report has verified the authenticity of explicit videos featuring him. Contrary to Revannas claims, the FSL report confirmed that the videos are genuine and have not been tampered with or manipulated. The report submitted to the Special Investigation Team (SIT) states that the videos have not been edited, morphed, or animated and the physical characteristics of the individual in the videos match those of Revanna. His arrest comes after several explicit videos allegedly featuring him surfaced on social media in late April, prompting him to flee to Germany ahead of the Hassan polling in Karnataka on April 26 where he was contesting for re-election to the Lok Sabha seat, which he lost. The initial case filed on April 28, alleges that Prajwal sexually harassed a 47-year-old former domestic worker. The woman who worked at the Revanna household from 2019 to 2022 accused Prajwal and his father HD Revanna of sexually harassing her and her daughter. The allegations surfaced after explicit videos purportedly featuring Prajwal went viral on social media. Prajwal refused the accusations claiming that the videos were manipulated and fabricated. However, the womans testimony has brought serious charges against the father-son duo, with Prajwal facing multiple counts of sexual assault.
