Noida: Noida Police has arrested two accused who befriended people through gay dating app Grindr and blackmailed them. They used to befriend people through the gay dating app Grindr and blackmail them. These accused used to call the victims to meet. After that, they used to establish sexual relations and then make their pornographic videos and demand a huge amount. This action has been taken by the Phase-2 police station. Victim went to the police with a complaintDeputy Commissioner of Police (Zone II) Shakti Mohan Awasthi said that this arrest was made on the complaint of a victim youth. The youth said that he had befriended some people through Grindr app. Who called him to meet After the meeting, the accused forced him to have homosexual relations and started making pornographic videos. After this, he was blackmailed through the video, and a huge amount was demanded. On the complaint of the victim, the police took immediate action and arrested two persons named Deepak and Kishore Kumar Raghav. Police have recovered mobile phones and a motorcycle used for blackmailing them. Many people were made victimsDuring interrogation, it was revealed that the accused had trapped many people in their net through the Grindr app. In the same way, they used to make videos of people by luring them into friendship and blackmail them and extort huge amounts of money from them. Police are looking for other victims in this case.
