A case of arbitrariness of the builder and his staff has come to light in the Supertech ORB Society located in Sector 74 of Noida. According to the people of the society, due to the arbitrariness of the builder and the builder’s staff, the people of the other projects of Supertech, Cape Town CC 1 and CC 2 living next door are occupying the ORB Club.

Sanjay Aggarwal, a resident of ORB Society, told that about Rs 4 lakh was taken from the people living in Supertech’s ORB Society for the membership of the club here, which means that only the people of this society should participate in the ORB club. Due to the arbitrariness of the builder and his staff, the people of CC1 and CC2 of the adjacent Supertech Capetown project are forcibly occupying the club.

It is worth mentioning that the builder has forcefully opened a common gate between the two societies, due to which the people of the nearby society enter the ORB society without any permission. Regarding this thing, ORB Society residents do not feel safe anymore. People believe that because of this gate being open, anyone can enter the ORB Society and if there is any security lapse due to this, then who will take responsibility for it.

On the other hand, Vineet Jain, who lives in ORB Society, said, “This is not the first time that the builder has harassed residents. Apart from safety, the TDS level of the water coming in the society is also very high due to which diseases are increasing among the people. The problem of light always remains. People talked to the builder many times about this, but he is adamant and does not take cognizance of this matter.”

Nothing in the name of convenience at the cost of crores

Significantly, the cost of these sky-high buildings built in Noida is in crores, but nothing is being found in the name of the convenience of the people. In such a situation, people who are investing their whole life’s savings to buy a house are feeling cheated because of not getting the facility.

According to Brijesh Sharma, a resident of the society, the flat here was sold as a premium society, but there is nothing in the name of convenience that makes it feel premium. The people of the adjacent Cape Town society are forcibly infiltrating, it is a separate project, so how can they encroach on our rights.

Breaking promises has become a habit of builders

Apart from this, Lalit, who lives in ORB Society, says that for the last several months talks are going on with the builder and his staff, but the result is the same. The bigger the ORB building, the bigger are the promises of the builder, but breaking promises is a habit of the builders of Noida.

Pushpanjali, who lives in ORB, says, “The premium society is only in name. There is a central AC in the society, but there is no electricity. What kind of premium society is this where there is no place for children to play.”
