Speaking to the news agency ANI on Wednesday, Swaraj said, “The opposition talks about uprooting ‘Sanatan,’ uses indecent language to describe it, and sometimes compares ‘Sanatan’ with diseases. But as long as parents continue to bring their children to Ram Leela events and instil Sanatan values in them, nobody can eradicate Sanatan.”

The BJP leader attended a Ram Leela event in Delhi.

Stalin’s remarks on Sanatan Dharma sparked row

Moreover, Prime Minister Narendra Modi also slammed the INDIA bloc leaders, saying that the latter’s goal is to eradicate Sanatan.

Notably, the DMK is a partner in the INDIA alliance, specially formed to take on the BJP in the 2024 Lok Sabha polls.
