The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has issued a strong warning against the spread of misinformation regarding paper leaks for the 2025 board exams, assuring students and parents of a fair and transparent examination process. With exams underway for over 44 lakh students, the board is taking strict measures to maintain the integrity of the examination.

CBSE Denounces Baseless Paper Leak Claims

CBSE has refuted claims circulating on social media platforms, such as YouTube, Facebook, and X, alleging paper leaks or access to the 2025 examination question papers. The board has stated that these claims are baseless and intended to create unnecessary panic among students and parents.

Strict Action Against Rumor Mongers

The board is actively monitoring social media and collaborating with law enforcement agencies to identify and prosecute individuals spreading false information. Students found involved in such activities will face consequences under CBSE's Unfair Means rules and relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC). Penalties for sharing or uploading exam-related material on social media may include cancellation of current and the next three years' exams for all subjects.

Advisory for Parents and Students

CBSE has urged parents to advise their children against engaging with or believing in unverified information. The board has emphasized that all stakeholders, including students, parents, and schools, should rely only on official communications from CBSE available on the website and verified public channels for accurate updates.

Comprehensive Measures for Fair Exams

The board is conducting these exams amid tight security, including CCTV monitoring, a strict dress code, and instructions to students. The board has implemented comprehensive measures to ensure the smooth and fair conduct of the examinations. The exams started on February 15 and will continue until April 4.
