Senior AAP leader and Member of Parliament Raghav Chadha stated, “In Lok Sabha, the INDIA bloc has moved a ‘no-confidence motion’ against the Government, and the Lok Sabha Speaker has duly accepted it.” This was in response to the no-confidence motion that was moved by the INDIA alliance, which included Congress and AAP on July 26, which was accepted by the Lok Sabha speaker.

He further added, “The parliamentary rules and conventions stipulate that no legislative business can take place until the no-confidence motion has been thoroughly debated and decided. Despite this, Bills are being passed in contravention of the Practice & Procedure of Parliament. This is unjust and against the spirit of our parliamentary democracy.”
