Nirmala Sitharaman’s daughter Parakala Vangamayi got married in Bengaluru on Thursday. She tied the knot with Prateek Doshi, who works as a significant aide to Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The ceremony was a homely affair graced by family and close friends. Seers from the Udupi Adamaru Mutt were also seen in the ceremony.
Sitharaman’s daughter Parakala works as a multi-media journalist and a reporter for a prominent English daily. She writes about literature, art and culture, social policies and humanitarian issues. She also keeps collaborating with many international and Indian news organisations.
Parakala has a master’s degree in journalism from Medill School of Journalism and another master’s degree in English from Delhi University.
Prateek works at the Prime Minister’s Office as an Officer on Special Duty (OSD). Doshi completed graduation from Singapore Management School.
