After massive raids at over 44 locations in Maharashtra and Karnataka on Saturday, National Investigation Agency (NIA) has arrested a total of 13 people in the ISIS terror conspiracy case.
The anti-terror agency agents raided these locations in close coordination with the police forces of Maharashtra and Karnataka, according to the sources.
Of the 44 locations being raided since this morning, the agency sleuths have searched 1 place in Karnataka, 2 in Pune, 31 in Thane Rural, 9 in Thane city and 1 in Bhayandar.

The case pertains to a criminal conspiracy organised by the accused and those close to them who created a terrorist gang and vowed allegiance to the violent extremist ideology of banned terrorist groups, such as Al-Qaeda and ISIS.
Also, the terrorist groups enlisted like-minded young people into their ranks in order to carry out violent jihad and impose Islamic law in India.
