The National Investigation Agency (NIA) is looking for two suspects in connection with the Rameshwaram Cafe blast that took place on March 1 in Bengaluru. The investigation agency has announced a reward of Rs 20 lakh for information leading to the arrest of these suspects.

The NIA is searching for the two main suspects, Mussavir Hussain Shazib and Abdul Matheen Taha, who were the key conspirators in the blast. Mussavir Hussain Shazib allegedly planted the explosive device (IED) in the cafe and Abdul Matheen Taha planned the same. Both of them are already wanted in 2020 terrorism case.

The department further mentioned that the identity of the informer will be kept secret.

One of the co-conspirators in the case, Muzammil Shareef, was taken into custody by the agency on March 28 following search operations at 18 sites, including 12 in Karnataka, 5 in Tamil Nadu, and 1 in Uttar Pradesh, by the NIA team.
