New turn in Pune Porshe case! 2 doctors arrested for manipulating blood sample of accused teen before alcohol test

Two doctors from Sassoon general hospital were arrested on Monday for destruction of evidence against the minor accused in Pune Porshe crash that killed two techies. The arrested individuals include the head of the hospital's forensic department. They are accused for changing the blood samples and manipulating the blood sample reports. 

What's the matter? 

The minor was first taken to Sassoon Hospital for medical test at 11 am. During this time, his blood sample was replaced with the blood sample of a person who had not consumed alcohol. After taking the first blood sample, alcohol was not confirmed in the test report. This had given rise to doubt. After this, when the blood report came again, alcohol was confirmed. It was revealed that on May 19, doctors at the government hospital had tampered with the blood sample to save the minor.

Pune Porshe accident case

This incident of hit and run took place on 19th May. In Pune's Kalyani Nagar area, the 17-year-old son of real estate developer Vishal Aggarwal had crushed two bike-riding engineers with his sports car Porsche, killing both of them. 14 hours after this incident, the accused minor got bail from the court with some conditions.

The court had directed him to work with the traffic police for 15 days and write an essay of 300 words on the effects and solutions of road accidents. However, police investigation revealed that the accused was under the influence of alcohol and was driving the car at very high speed. The minor is currently in a reform home.

Two police were arrested

Recently, two policemen involved in this incident were accused of negligence. These two officers were the first to reach the spot after the incident. But both of them did not inform their seniors and the control room about the incident. These two police officers of Yerwada Police Station were suspended by the Pune Commissioner. Their names are Police Inspector Rahul Jagdale and API Vishwanath Todkari.
