A sensational double murder has been reported from Uttar Pradeshs Lucknow. The 17-year-old nephew shot his uncle, aunt and cousin brother in Indiranagar. The wife and husband scrummed to bullet injuries. However, the minor accused fled from the spot. According to the sources, the incident happened after a family dispute in Takrohi Sector-B Jai Nagar of Indiranagar, when a 17-year-old teenager shot dead his 61-year-old maternal uncle Rajendra Singh and maternal aunt Saroj Singh on Tuesday night. Rajendra Singhs son Sharvan was also injured by the bullet and was treated at the hospital.While speaking to ANI, Lucknow DCP (North) Abijith R Shankar said, “In the present incident, it came to light that his nephew, who is 17 years old, has committed this incident. The police team is searching for him. A case is being registered after receiving the information on the present incident. Necessary legal action will be taken by the police. On Tuesday night, another such quarrel ensued, escalating into verbal abuse. During the confrontation, his nephew emerged with a pistol and fired three shots in rapid succession, striking Rajendra Singh in the chest. Upon hearing the gunfire, Rajendras wife Saroj and their son Sharvan rushed to intervene and were also shot. The nephew fled the scene immediately after the incident.Soon after hearing the gunshots, Neighbours assisted the distraught family in rushing all three victims to the hospital, where doctors pronounced Rajendra and Saroj dead. However, Sharvan, injured in the hand, received medical treatment and remains hospitalized in critical condition. The officials also said that it remains unclear how and when he obtained the firearm. Further information will be collected once the police apprehend the suspect.
