NCP’s Sharad Pawar appoints Praful Patel, Supriya Sule as new working presidents

On the completion of 25 years of Nationalist Congress Party or NCP on Saturday, Sharad Pawar made a big announcement that his daughter Supriya Sule and Praful Patel will be new working presidents of the party. The announcement was made in presence of Sharad Pawar’s nephew Ajit Pawar. Ajit Pawar is a key NCP member.

It should be noted that Sharad Pawar offered to resign last month from the presidency of the party.

Meanwhile, Supriya Sule, daughter of Sharad Pawar was introduced to active politics in 2006 as Rajya Sabha MP. In 2009, she started representing Baramati Lok Sabha constituency which was looked after by her father till then. She is also credited to have formed Rashtravadi Yuvati Congress.
