NBE announces NEET PG exam rescheduled on August 11

The NEET post graduate exam that was cancelled amid irregularities in NEET-UG will not be held on August 11 in two shifts.

The National Board of Examination has announced the new date for the NEET PG exam has been announced. The exam will be held in two shifts on August 11. According to the press release, the cut-off date for the purpose of eligibility to appear in the NEET –PG shall be continued till August 15, 2024. The board has announced that for details regarding the conduct of examination will held in two shifts shall be published on NBEMS website.  

It is important to note that the fresh date has come almost a month after NEET-PG Entrance was cancelled amid alleged irregularities in the competitive test NEET-UG.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) which conducted the exam has been facing criticism over the irregularities, which prompted a series of protest across the nation, including political parties and students demanding action against NTA.  Meanwhile, the Supreme Court will hear a batch of pleas alleging paper leaks in NEET-UG on July 8.
