Nayab Saini Haryana CM: BJP leader Nayab Singh Saini, who led his party to an unprecedented third consecutive victory in the Haryana Assembly elections, is expected to be sworn in as the Chief Minister once again on October 15.
The swearing-in ceremony preparations are already underway, with a 10-member committee established by the state chief secretary to ensure smooth arrangements. The committee is headed by the Panchkula District Commissioner, who will oversee all the necessary preparations for the high-profile event.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi, along with other senior BJP leaders and the Chief Ministers of BJP-governed states, is expected to attend the ceremony. This marks a significant moment for the party as Saini returns to office for another term.
Contrary to what exit polls suggested, the actual results from the Haryana Assembly Elections indicate a significant victory for the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), securing a hattrick in the state. The BJP is set to celebrate this win at their party headquarters, with Prime Minister Narendra Modi scheduled to address the party workers.
In response to the election results, the Congress party has expressed strong disagreement. Senior leaders Jairam Ramesh and Pawan Khera, speaking to the media in New Delhi, described the BJP's win as a product of manipulation, suggesting that this outcome represents a setback for democratic principles.
The Ahirwal region, including districts like Gurgaon, Rewari, and Mahendergarh, has consistently been a BJP stronghold since 2014. Despite facing challenges with the Jat community's dissatisfaction, the BJP has effectively utilized its support base in Ahirwal to clinch victories in previous elections. Current electoral trends show that the BJP might achieve its strongest performance in this area yet, with the Congress trailing considerably.
