In a massive crackdown on the banned naxal outfit in an anti-india conspiracy case, the National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Saturday swooped down on the premises of accused and suspected persons at 12 places in Uttar Pradesh and Bihar. NIA raids in UP, BiharNIA raided a total of 11 places in Ballia district of UP. Apart from this, raids were also conducted on the hideouts of the suspects in Kaimur district of Bihar. During the raid of the investigating agency, many SIM cards, phones, memory cards and many other digital devices were found. Which were confiscated. Apart from this, documents like pamphlets of the banned Naxalite organization have been seized.NIA massive crackdownNIA has been tightening its grip on criminals and suspects. On November 10 last year, the investigating agency had arrested him along with many other things including arms and ammunition of CPI (Maoist) in Ballia, UP. Apart from this, he had taken up the investigation of the case of five other accused.NIA had filed the charge sheet against some four criminals on 9 February 2024. The investigating agency believes that many such illegal organizations are hidden in many cities across the country. Banned organizations are spreading their tentacles in many areas of Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Delhi, Punjab, Haryana and Himachal Pradesh. The spokesperson of the investigating agency said that some leaders and workers of CPI (Maoist) Over Ground Workers (OGW) are trying to strengthen the position of the organization in this area.
