In a tragic incident, a 26-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the death of a nursing student in a hotel in Navsari, Gujarat. Despite witnessing the woman bleed profusely after a sexual encounter, the accused reportedly wasted crucial time searching the internet for remedies instead of seeking immediate medical assistance.

According to investigators, rather than rushing the woman to a hospital, the man browsed his phone for solutions to stop the bleeding, reportedly searching for terms like “what to do to cease bleeding during intercourse.” Shockingly, sources also revealed that he even attempted to engage in sex again, despite her severe condition.

The Jalalpore police have since charged him with culpable homicide not amounting to murder and destruction of evidence. Navsari Superintendent of Police, Sushil Agrawal, stated, “The forensic report indicated that she died due to excessive bleeding. Instead of calling for emergency services, he waited for his friends and then transported her in a private vehicle. Had she received prompt medical care, including IV fluids and blood transfusions, she might have survived.”

Forensic report reveals gruesome details

A postmortem revealed that the woman died from severe injuries to her private parts, leading to substantial blood loss and haemorrhagic shock. The FIR disclosed that she was a first-year nursing student who had reconnected with the accused around seven months ago after not being in contact for two years. They had first met three years earlier.

The couple decided to spend private time together on the day of the incident, checking into a hotel. Even after realizing her condition had worsened, the accused spent 60 to 90 minutes in the hotel before finally taking her to the hospital, where she was pronounced dead at 2:15 PM.

Before leaving, he allegedly cleaned the room to erase evidence of the encounter. The man was remanded in police custody until October 4. Investigators are working to reconstruct the events leading up to her death and to uncover how he destroyed the evidence.
