The incident occurred during a wedding procession from Meetli village to Gandhi village. Witnesses reported that some members of the groom's party, under the influence of alcohol, disrupted the festivities with unruly conduct. When the groom’s family tried to intervene and maintain order, the intoxicated guests allegedly called in more individuals, leading to a heated altercation.

Violence and injuries

As tensions escalated, the situation turned violent. Physical confrontations broke out, and gunfire was reportedly used during the clash. Several individuals sustained injuries in the melee and were rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment. Fortunately, no fatalities have been reported so far.
