Several parts of Delhi reeled under a heatwave for the third straight day in a row. Narela, which was under the grip of a severe heatwave sizzled at 47.1 degree Celsius, seven notches above normal. However, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued an orange alert for a heatwave in the national capital, indicating that intense heat will persist in the coming days.The IMD predicts the maximum temperature to soar up to 45 degrees Celsius today.
