New Delhi: A shocking incident has come to light from Uttar Pradesh's Muzaffarnagar where a violent clash between two groups unfolded on the streets of Almaspur. On Monday, a dispute related to a legal case escalated into a public brawl, drawing widespread attention and concern.

The altercation erupted in Almaspur’s Nai Mandi Kotwali area, where tensions between two parties led to a fierce street fight. The confrontation involved both men and women, with the women from each side tearing each other's clothes, resulting in them being partially undressed on the street. Passersby quickly intervened by providing shawls to cover the women.

Background of the dispute

The dispute centers around ongoing legal issues between two local residents, Vishwajeet and Bittu. On Monday, Bittu had a court date and was at home when the conflict ignited. The two parties live in close proximity and a verbal disagreement escalated into physical violence as Bittu stepped outside his house.

Physical altercation involves men and women

As the argument intensified, physical fights broke out, involving both men and women from each side. Bittu’s relatives arrived to defend him, while members of the opposing group joined the fray. The situation quickly deteriorated into a chaotic scene with women engaged in a violent struggle, leading to their clothes being ripped off. This public spectacle attracted a crowd, who were shocked to see the women in such a state.

Investigation underway

Upon receiving the report, local police arrived at the scene and detained four individuals from both sides: Vishwajeet, his son, Bittu and Lokesh. Police Inspector Bablu Kumar confirmed that complaints have been filed against both parties and investigations are ongoing to resolve the matter.
