Muzaffarnagar Crime: Woman allegedly laces Husband’s coffee with poison

A woman is said to have attempted to poison her husband by adding poison in his coffee. The victim's sister filed a police complaint, seeking action against her sister-in-law.

Muzaffarnagar (Uttar Pradesh), March 27: A number of such instances involving attempts to murder one's husband by the wife have cropped up in the recent past, including the now-famous Meerut murder case.

Coffee in Murder Plot

 In a similar case has come to light from Bhangela village in Uttar Pradesh's Muzaffarnagar, where a woman attempted to poison her husband by adding poison in his coffee. The victim's sister has lodged a police complaint, seeking action against her sister-in-law.

Details Of The Incident

As per Meenakshi, a local of Bhangela, her brother Anuj married two years ago to Shanno, a lady from Farrukhabad. She alleges that after the marriage, Shanno had been harassing Anuj and his whole family. There are also reports that there have been constant fights between the couple for the last few days.

Woman’s Murderous Plot Exposed

On Tuesday (March 25), Shanno allegedly spiked Anuj's coffee with poison to kill him. As soon as Anuj consumed the coffee, his health took a turn for the worse. He was taken to a private hospital in Meerut, where doctors established that he had taken poison. His condition is critical and he continues to receive treatment. This case has surfaced just a few days after another horrific murder case in Meerut, in which a wife is accused of murdering her husband.

Man Critical After Wife’s Poison Plot

Luckily, in this case, the alleged attempt did not succeed and the husband remains critical in the hospital. The police are collecting evidence and will take further action based on the findings of the investigation. Attempted murder has been filed against the wife at the family's complaint. The police will be able to inform the reason behind the wife's actions only after the investigation.
