Crime News: In a chilling twist of events, a man murdered in Mumbai had the names of 22 enemies tattooed on his body. After his murder, three suspects were arrested on the basis of names mentioned in tattoos. The victim, identified as 48-year-old Guru Waghmare, was found dead at Soft Touch Spa in Worli on July 24.Waghmare was a Right to Information (RTI) activist and had a history of criminal activities with several cases pending against him. Despite his claims of activism, he was known for his involvement in various illegal activities, which had earned him numerous enemies.How did it happen The spa owner, Santosh Sherekar, was among the arrested suspects after his name was found tattooed on Waghmares body. According to police reports, Sherekar was frustrated with Waghmares continuous extortion threats and decided to eliminate him. He allegedly hired Mohammed Feroze Ansari, a 26-year-old contract killer, to carry out the murder. Ansari, who had previous dealings with Sherekar, was paid Rs 6 lakh (approximately $7,166) for the job.Ansari and Sherekar had a history, with Ansari running a spa in Nallasopara that was shut down after a raid triggered by Waghmares complaint. This incident fueled Ansaris anger towards Waghmare. Three months prior to the crime, Ansari contacted Saqub Ansari in Delhi, and together they meticulously planned Waghmares assassination.The duo mapped out his frequent locations and his route home. They decided to carry out the murder at Sherekars spa.Execution of gruesome murderOn the night of July 24, Waghmare was celebrating his birthday with his 21-year-old girlfriend. CCTV footage captured outside a liquor bar in Sion showed the two assailants tailing Waghmare and later following him into the spa. Late that night, the assailants entered the spa, separated Waghmares girlfriend into another room, and proceeded with their gruesome plan.Using the blades of a pair of scissors, one assailant slit Waghmares throat while the other stabbed him in the stomach, which caused his death.
