Murder or suicide? Kolkata triple family’s shocking case sparks investigation!

They had pledged their Tangra house and plant, and had failed to vend a property in Bolpur. It has now surfaced that Prasun had pledged the jewellery left with the family in Jan to raise Rs 19 lakh, which was used to pay the workers at their plant. The Deys possessed an alternate property, which had also been pledged, said police. he Dey sisters had withdrawn their trade licence from KMC last time and also shut their silk import business in Bolpur.

Pranay requested Prasun not to go ahead with the murder plan

The fiscal trouble had accelerated since Dec 2023, coinciding with the fall in exports across Europe and the exit of a couple of their long- time merchandisers and mates.
