New Delhi: A sensational case has emerged from Dadar railway station in Maharashtra, where two handicapped men were caught carrying the body of a young man hidden in a suitcase. The Railway Protection Force (RPF) apprehended the duo during a routine check. The deceased, like the accused, was also handicapped. Initial investigations suggest that the incident stemmed from a dispute over a female friend.Initial discovery of the caseThe two accused, Jai Praveen Chawla and Shivjeet Surendra Singh, were attempting to dispose of the body by train when they were intercepted. Upon inspection, the police found the suitcase containing the blood-soaked body, wrapped in plastic. One of the accused tried to flee but was quickly apprehended. Both the accused and the deceased were unable to speak or hear, necessitating the assistance of a sign language expert during the interrogation. Through this, the police learned that the deceased, identified as Arshad Ali Sheikh from Santacruz, had an altercation with Shivjeet over a female friend, which escalated into a fatal attack. The weapon used in the murder, a hammer, was recovered based on the information provided by the accused.Police investigation underwayAccording to Pydhuni police, the two men were caught at Dadar railway station with the suitcase during routine checks by RPF and GRP.
